Why am I being charged sales tax?

You may have noticed that your Litmus invoice now includes a sales tax charge where appropriate. Some states require taxes to be collected on Software as a Service (SaaS) products and while previously it was up to individual customers to file sales tax on their own, we have now taken on the responsibility to collect and remit sales tax.
