Emails cut off at the bottom
For mobile devices, we offer a fairly generous size limitation. A lot of mobile devices aren't capable of rendering the entire content of your email all at once, and so we have to splice the image together in frames. If we attempt to use too many of these frames, the device will run out of memory and crash. To avoid this, we limit the number of frames Litmus can capture.
For the vast majority of emails, these limits will never be reached, but if your email is especially long, you may find the bottom part of your email is missing. Gmail clips any email that is over 102KB or that has special characters. You can read more about that in this GitHub discussion.
Being aware of your email's length may affect placement of your analytics tracking code. If your code is at the bottom or your email or in your footer and it gets clipped, you will not receive data for that open.
Other clients affected by this include Blackberry HTML, Windows Phone, Symbian, and Blackberry Text, as well as early versions of iPad, iPhone, and Android.
