Create modules from existing emails and templates

Modules allow you to produce high-quality, on-brand emails quickly at scale by breaking up your email designs into small, reusable components. Create modules quickly from existing code and templates.

Modules from existing emails

Select an email you want to use and open it in Builder. In the code editor, highlight your desired code segment, then use the Save selection as module button in the upper right corner of the code panel.

Enter a title for your new module in the modal and then a text trigger to insert it in your email quickly. Select the green Create module button in the lower right corner.

Your new snippet will be saved in your Design Library and is also immediately available to use in all your email projects.

In the code editor, select the Insert dropdown and then Partial or Snippet. A selection pane will open between the code panel and the browser view panel where you can search for and select a module. If you want to use the text trigger you created, copy the trigger from above the snippet, place your cursor in your code and paste it, then use your tab key to insert it.

For Enterprise customers, in visual editor, search and select a snippet to drag and drop into your project. Drop zones will appear with a blue line as you drag the snippet around your project. When you see a green plus sign in the left corner of the snippet, you can drop it in place.

Modules from existing templates

Start in your Design Library and select a template that you'd like to use. Choose the Edit template button in the lower right corner.
