ESP Sync - integrate Litmus with your email service provider

By connecting your email service provider (ESP) to Litmus, it’s never been easier to build and test your email. Connect your ESP account to Litmus and automatically sync your code and assets to your ESP while you build. Then, when it’s time to review your emails with Litmus Proof, Previews & QA, or run a Litmus Spam Test, you can quickly select a draft email from your ESP to view in Litmus without ever switching tools.

Sync code and assets to your ESP while building

With ESP Syncing for Litmus Builder, you can automatically sync your code and assets from Builder to your ESP while you build. In Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, HubSpot, and Mailchimp, you can also choose the specific folder or sub-folder to sync your emails to help you to stay organized as you work. Once connected, whenever you make any changes to your code in Builder, Litmus automatically updates the assets in your ESP at the same time.

Run a pre-send Spam Test on a draft from your ESP

Connect your ESP to Litmus to easily start a Spam Test. Your most recent email drafts will appear in the Litmus Spam Testing modal. Select one and Litmus will automatically have your draft scanned across 25+ different deliverability tests and blocklists.

Review a draft email from your ESP

Select  Create new and then either the Test or Collaborate options. If you’ve connected your ESP with Litmus, we’ll display a list of your most recent draft emails from your ESP. Choose your draft and we’ll automatically generate Previews & QA, as well as a Proof for Enterprise plans, via test send from your ESP. Continue your email review and testing without having to switch tools!

NOTE: If you’re a Salesforce Marketing Cloud customer that uses the Approval option in Content Builder, Litmus proof sync functionality will not work unless the email is in an approved state. Your Marketing Cloud account must also have the All Subscribers List setting enabled. This setting is disabled by default and can be enabled by submitting a request through Marketing Cloud support.
